Weather

Class 4 have investigated climates around the world. Find out more!   The children have worked really hard on this project and there is a lot of interesting information on here.

World War 2

This term we are learning about World War 2. We have only just started but already we have learnt:

  • They used to wear gas masks so that if a bomb was dropped, the mask would protect them.
  • Some children were evacuated because it was too dangerous for them to stay at home, the children were only allowed to take one special toy and a few clothes. They had to carry an identity card to say where they had come from and their name. Sometimes spies might be watching them.
  • Lots of Dads had to go away and fight in the war and some teenagers fought in the army.
