Summary of comments about the class workshops

  • Evening workshops may be better for working parents
  • It helped to see all school work clearly
  • Excellent idea! Very informative
  • Most informative giving an insight to the grades that are given to our children as a result of SAT testing
  • Would welcome more!
  • Workshop in the afternoon meant we could come along without worrying about babysitters
  • I think they were really good in understanding what your child needs to learn and what the best ways to help them are

Other comments included suggestions about other clubs we might consider and a suggestion about finding out about how the PTA spends the money they raise.

What are we going to do now?

  • After the Christmas break we will set up a Parents Forum meeting to discuss some aspects of the questionnaire, particularly the one where we saw the lower score ‘our school liaises well with parents (89%)’ to see if we can do anything to address this.
  • We will consider arranging some workshop time in the evenings to help working parents.
